I’m Emmy, the heart behind this cozy spot. After growing up with dyslexia, disappointments from friends, and unexpected traumas, I’ve learned to trust again, appreciate the little things, and follow Jesus through the chaos. If you want to find your purpose, heal through His love, and enjoy a cup of coffee with Jesus, you’re in the right place! in the right place.

While I don’t have everything figured out, I believe the journey is more important than perfection. I want Jesus to guide me in appreciating the simple moments of life. If this vision resonates with you, I invite you to join me on this journey. My vision for the future of this is to pour into others. Help them to get healed from trauma, walk in their callings, and put Jesus as their everything. to walk in my call for writing and fund missions. Ever since I was a tiny girl in a pink dress, I have known that I was called overseas to tell people about the love of Jesus. So out of every $10 I make on here, $1 will go to furthering the gospel. I don't have everything figured out yet, but that was never the goal. I want Jesus to be everything and not just follow the current, but to cherish the simple everyday. So, if that is your heart too, I'd love for you to stay a while.

I sat on my bedroom floor, surrounded by the presence of Jesus, when I felt Him call me: "I want you to start a blog." Memories of my childhood flooded back—years of therapy for my dyslexia and the struggle to read. Fear crept in, but I surrendered it and quickly searched what a blog was.
After months of learning and trial and error, this simple idea began to unfold. I don’t fully understand why yet, but when God speaks, you respond.
I see this space as a way to deepen my love for my Savior and help others discover Him too. It’s about reconnecting with the simple things and stepping away from the world’s chaos, reminding ourselves that we belong to a different Kingdom.
My hope is to build a community of Jesus lovers through The Pilgrim's Table, celebrating the beauty of simplicity. So, if you enjoy cozy chats, coffee on the porch, and Jesus in everything, grab a seat! I’m thrilled you’re here!
